Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various types of appliances in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with customers to explain the problem, solution, and repair costs
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring customer satisfaction
- Keep track of inventory and tools to ensure that all necessary equipment is available for repairs
- Follow safety procedures to avoid injuries to yourself and customers
- Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records of repairs performed
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in appliance repair
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in appliances
- Ability to diagnose and repair appliances accurately and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
